Our hosts are pleased to welcome scholars from around the world to their homes.  We desire to provide you with a wonderful experience of the best hospitality.  Unlike other homestay organizations, hosts cannot sign up with Host-A-Scholar on their own.  Each host is personally invited to join our network by other hosts or scholars who know them, and know they will be excellent cultural ambassadors. They are interested in learning about other countries and cultures, and helping scholars have the best experience possible in their city. They can give their guests "inside information" about their hometowns, so students can experience it like locals! Also, every one of our hosts submits to a standard criminal background check.  We are committed to ensuring the safety and satisfaction of our scholars.
